Administrators

Principal: Dr. Megan Brethower

Dr. Brethower came to Graden from Hopewell Elementary where she served as the assistant principal since 2019. Prior to being an assistant principal, she taught fifth grade at Southeast Elementary and served as assistant to the principal. Before Park Hill, she taught in the Columbia Public School District and was a University of Missouri Teaching Fellow.

Dr. Brethower received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a K-9 Spanish certification, and Master of Education in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum from the University of Missouri. She received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Baker University.

Dr. Brethower is passionate about education, but when not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and crafting.

 

Assistant Principal: Angela Bright

Angela Bright is serving her first year as Assistant Principal at Graden Elementary.

She comes to Graden from the Orrick R-XI School District, where she serves as Principal at Orrick Elementary. She brings 21 years of experience to the district, previously serving as an Assistant Principal, Summer School Administrator and classroom teacher, all in Excelsior Springs. 

She received her bachelor’s from Park University, master’s from Baker University and specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University.
